Happy Saturday Hope you all are killing it at the gym and with nutrition. I wanted to share with you part of the message I received today at the conference I attended. I hope this reaches out and helps those of you who are dealing with lack of support from friends and family when it comes to your journey to a healthier you. You know , deep down inside what YOU need to do for YOU… if anyone criticizes you, says you will never make it or brings you down. SHAKE IT OFF.. smile , and shake it off. Why?, because those aren’t real friends and you should NEVER over think taking steps to be a better YOU. You won’t lose the weight from night to day. You won’t see that muscle gain from night to day. It won’t be easy , it will be hard, whoever says otherwise is a liar. You will go through lots of emotions and face lots of giants ( that come in the form of a craving , temptation , desire to quite, etc) but be brave. Bravery doesn’t mean facing things fearless, it’s facing them with fear but with enough hope to make it through , courageous. Reach your goals , don’t allow or depend on others to push you. Be your coach , your personal trainer your bootcamp instructor and if you need that nudge ,.. as for me, my source was and will always be God… cause He will do what we can’t with our own strength. Thank you! I work out alone too! Family and friends get annoyed that most of my posts have to do with the gym, I’ve slowed down on my posts but it kills me. They PM me and tell me how sad it is that all I have in my life is the gym and no man and one day I’m gonna wake up skinny and fit but gonna die lonely…geez!
