Is anyone else here an avid cyclist? I’m looking to get back into biking after a knee injury I sustained a couple years ago, which I’m still dealing with. I now have a Baker’s cyst in that knee. I’ve been keto for just over a year and have had amazing success with inflammation, but still deal with pain. My question is, does keto help with endurance? And should I be using a pre or post work out? I’m looking to get back to 20 km a day or more for biking.
Keto definitely helps with endurance! I don’t have to carb load. I’m currently training for Half Ironman and so far haven’t had the need to refuel during transition, bike, or run segments during training. I’ve been fine with a bulletproof coffee before my training. We’ll see how it goes the further into training I go.
