Is anyone familiar with the 5 x 5 workout routine if so is it good for strength and size?
Size and strength try it for a month then switch it up
Great for strength but u have to really push yourself… you should be using at least 85 percent 1rm
Yeah but it loses steam the longer you do it.
Don’t sweat the numbers reps and sets. Go balls out in the gym. Lift heavy and hard. Screw it go every set until you can’t move anymore. That is if you are up for a challenge.
It’s meant to build strength. Not size. If you’re looking for size, research hypertrophy training.
