It doesn’t work that way. No food is “good for losing weight”. But you can lose weight eating any kind of food there is because there are no fattening foods.

I know that potatoes are not good for losing weight. A lot of diets prefer not include potatoes into the ration.

Not bad – a potato that is just baked has a very low calorific value for its size and weight, so should fill you but not mean excess carbs.

Be careful what you have it with – tons of tuna mayonaise and butter and cheese will just turn a fairly healthy meal into a fatty one.

Get a potato, stab it about 50 times, use olive oil and rub around the surface of it into the skin, put a bit of salt and peppa on, bake it at a medium to low heat for an hour, the oil will mean you don’t need butter and it will be very soft – bit of grated cheese, some beans and there you go – decent meal with way less than 500 calories.
