Your insulin spikes during exercise and really first thing in the morning as well.

How do we know if our insulin has spiked? We can’t measure it at home like we can measure our glucose levels.

Even if it doesn’t spike, what do y’all eat directly after a fasted workout? If not fat, when do you start taking in fat again?

I just eat whatever is keto. Mostly celery and cream cheese and pepperoni or a fatty burger or whatever is keto. I think you’re making it too difficult.

Insulin and blood glucose have a connection but they’re not the same. Testing blood glucose will tell you what is going on with blood glucose, but that doesn’t tell you what is going on with insulin necessarily. To answer your question, no. It’s not counterproductive.
