Is it okay to have carbs if you stay with in your limit following your macros?

Is it okay to have carbs if you stay with in your limit following your macros? For instance, corn in your favorite salad may have 14 carbs, if your limit is 20 & you don’t go over, is that okay? If not, can you explain why. Newbie trying to learn!

I‎t spikes your glucose so you want to avoid I‎t. I‎f you want I‎t every now and then you’ll be okay! I’d just consider I‎t more of a treat instead of something to have often.

Yes. That’s the point of having the limit. Just try to stay away from things that are known to make your blood sugar spike.
