In the Maffetone Method you don’t go over 180-age.

220-age is your theoretical max. 180-age is the theoretical top of Zone 2, or your aerobic fat burning zone.

Lower than the conventional advice. Conventional training is usually 220-age. Maffetone recommends 180-age.

I do follow the Maffetone Method so I personally keep my heart rate lower. But that has nothing to do with a ketogenic way of eating.

No. You can overtrain and that can be problematic. But that’s not exclusive to being in a state of ketosis.
