I’ve been keto for 6 months with 150 lbs to lose. All I’ve done for fitness so far is walking and swimming but I would like to add weight training. Could you please point me to programs/videos/apps/books that would help develop a program to get me started?
I started lifting with a trainer- just for 2 sessions so they could show me how to get form right so I wouldn’t injure myself in the process. If that’s no good for you I would say to look up beginner videos on youtube to at least see the correct form first! Good luck!
There are several options. Search youtube for free videos, there is also some fb pages with fitness tips and tricks that has some great ideas and tips. I am currently a subscriber to BeachBody on demand annual so I have access to over 600 different videos. Currently I’m doing 80 day obsession which you can modify moves. There are some 10 minute trainer videos too that use resistance bands/loops. by Tony Horton. That being said here is the warning as I am recently finding out: as you start using weights your weight will go up. It’s a combo of water retention and muscle growth. SO DO NOT GO BY THE SCALE!! lol just use your measurements.
