I’ve started lifting 2-3 times a week, and I’ve noticed my weight loss has slowed to nothing or even a couple of pounds heavier. Is this normal? This is one month of lifting 2-3 times a week and core work 4-5 times a week.
Stop using the scale as your only measurement of success. And this is for EVERYONE who does this. I’m 144 lbs. Another person I know is the same weight and her body is AMAZING. Mine…not so much. She might be an inch taller than me. But the point is, if we’re using the scale as our only tool, we are at the same level. And we are so NOT at the same level. I have a ton of work to do compared to her. Take pictures and measurements and write them down so you can see how your body is changing.
