Like mentioned before its a form of cardio too and can be performed with almost all kinds of exercises. It requires minimal rest periods and if performed really intense will only take less than 30 mins and you burnt out. An example will be sprinting for 100m then walking back to the starting position, with no rest then sprint again, walk back, sprint again till you really really out of breath. The aim is to give it your all. You can do jump squats rest maybe ten seconds, jump squat, till exhaustion. It burns more calories than jogging and takes less time so if you are a busy person it would be ideal for you.
