Just started the gym again. My Honey and I went on Monday and will go tonight. It was easier than I expected but I’m still sore from Monday. I tried to ease in and not over do it. Any suggestions?

Way to go getting back into a routine. Getting back into the gym actually helps the soreness go away for me. I think there’s a lot to be said for active recovery. Of course being smart about it. Great job!

Epsom salt bath, foam roller and magnesium supplement before bed ( an extra benefit is it’s a muscle relaxer) heating pad if needed. 1 of these or all depending on soreness is my recovery routine.

The best way to get soreness out is to work out again, light movements, rolling and stretching. After care is hot baths and delicious food.. So glad you’re back at the gym, keep it going.

That is normal, called D O M. After a while, you won’t feel it so much. After a while, it will take a lot to feel that. I actually like it, it makes me feel alive. Sometimes after I do legs, I hurt when I sit and stand up. But it is good, lets me know it was a good workout!!
