Last week my weight loss stalled out (pre period)
Period started yesterday and I’ve gained 2 pounds.
What do you guys do to counteract the bloating and fatigue. I’m drinking tons of water but is there anything workout wise that helps? All I want to do right now is go back to bed but I’m making myself go to Pilates class instead

There’s really not a lot you can do about it. It is your hormones causing the weight fluctuations. Just be patient. In the next few days it will drop down again. You can try increasing your water, decrease caffeine and salt. I know it’s incredibly frustrating to watch it go up after you’ve been working so hard to get it down. But it’s like the stock market. You’ll make yourself crazy if you watch everyday like a hawk. I believe in weighting daily ONLY if you will not obsess about the fluctuations and if you will take a weekly average and compare the weekly averages – NOT the daily weigh ins. Other wise, stay off the scale and only weigh in twice a month.

I gain/retain about 6lbs the week before my period. I usually get the woosh weight loss about a day after my period

Nothings ever helped my bloating and fatigue. even when I drink my coffee I’m dragging. I’ve always gone on a small hike or done some cardio and that makes me feel a little better! Pilates is great
