Leafy greens. I know I need to eat more, and lettuce doesn’t really count. I’m just never excited about them. Growing up we mostly had canned vegetables with rarely frozen, very little fresh stuff, and pretty much never spinach, collards, etc.
So far I’m finding:
Other veg = good
Nuts/seeds/avo= great (too hungry without)
Leafy greens = resounding “meh”
I’ve tried in the past with juicing greens but I can tolerate much more and will choke it down for the health and/or not to waste it. At the time I was afraid of using too much fruit to counteract the vegetable taste. I’m not sure a blended green smoothie would go over well, even now. How are YOU getting your greens in?
