Looking for information on meal timing/frequency. I’m stopping keto and soon I’ll be stopping intermittent fasting too. I’m looking to regulate blood sugar and maximize muscle protein synthesis. So I’ll be eating every few hours.

Sources online are all over the place and they tend to modify their advice to sell their own products.

How do you divide up your macros throughout the day? For example, fast digesting protein and complex carbs for breakfast seems fairly consistent across sources. What about the rest of the day including pre/post workout?

I view it differently. I just keep it simple. I eat w common sense. To me that means, eat the realest foods I can find, most of the time. I don’t deprive myself of anything. I don’t really count anything or weigh food. I cook at home. I put a protein and vegetable w almost every meal. I prepare foods by baking a lot. Steaming veggies. If I want to lose some fat, lessen the fast carbs. Drink water mostly. Snack on dark chocolate and pb. Snacks contain protein. I think timing, fasting, named diets, counting stuff, for me aren’t necessary. If I want more muscle, I eat more and lift heavier. If I want to lean, I do high intensity, and lessen carbs. I do eat around the workout time. Sometimes before , sometimes after. I look at big picture, not minutia such as rigidly timing stuff. Idk that’s just me, keep it simple and fun!

Be sure to deadlift and squat in socks at the gym and make sure others are watching as you do so. Watch the consistency of your turds if they float or sink. Be sure to put your ass on the ground everytime you do squats and post videos on this page for criticism. Follow all Guru’s that talk with their hands and flex with a one gallon jug like Ryan Engal. Eat all carbs one day, Keto the next day and only do cardio after 48 hours of fasting.

If you want to try and take full advantage of insulin sensitivity then carbs peri workout only and workout days only. Indirect carbs in fiberous vegetables don’t count.
