Looking for some advice. I’m 128 pounds 5 foot 1 wanting to get to 119. I am struggling with knowing how much to eat. MFP says 1250 a day to lose 1 pound a week. I have tried 1200 and didn’t lose anything. Online calculators say I should eat 1300-1400 but I am scared to do this! Not sure what to do I have lost most of weight doing 5:2 but not cal counting?
I’m 5ft 1 also. I am also meant to have 1200 as apparantly bmr is around 1500. I’ve been having slightly less than 1200 most days and the weight is really coming off. I’m also walking quite a bit and just started weight training as well. Having smaller portions and educating myself about nutrition has been such an eye opener. I’ve found James Smiths videos really helpful. I’m currently 131 lbs and want to be 115 or less but not sure if it’s achievable as I’m 40 now but that’s my aim.
