Looking for some insight.. Second week in I’ve lost 10lbs so I am feeling good about that. My work outs have me concerned though. I doubt that I am getting 10grams of carbs per day. I am doing weight training and my muscles get fatigued so quickly. My trainer insists that I need carbs but I am trying to hold out until I am fully fat adapted and my body begins to burn fat for fuel. Looking for suggestions to help me get that energy to push more weight and get the reps in.

It’s going to take some time. Go easy your body is a bit confused. Electrolytes, hydration and time. It all comes back. Trust the process.

You will be fine in a month or so. Don’t let ego in the gym prevent you from the change. I promise you will be glad you stuck it out!!

No one gets out of fat adaptation. It’s a process. Stick to keto and keep the carbs low. Don’t underestimate electrolytes.
