Looking to sharpen my own blades. I have a 8” Strikemaster Strike-Lite Power Auger. Having a hard time finding Blades for it since Gander Mountain here in Michigan went out of Business. I am open to purchasing a Cooled Grinding Machine to sharpen them. Any ideas? Or y’all know of a place to purchase Blades. Thank you.

Look for a hand sharpener. Pretty cheap but work to keep an edge. Had the same blades on my Eskimo z51 for 3 years now and still cut like new.

Home depot sells a diamond file that does a nice job for 20. It’s by the tin snips.

I’ve also bought diamond files at Walmart. Doubles as a great hook sharpener as well. Always file from the top side. Or else the edge is gone. Never from the bottom.

I just use the sharpening stone I use on my hunting knife.

I use a work sharp knife sharpener. It works really well. Just go slow.
