My muscles are so tight at the moment I feel like a block of wood! Takes so long to warm up because I’m so stiff I’m doing extra an still not performing the workouts well because of the tightness! Might have to go see a Physio I think! Anyone else finding this?
I take BCAA’s (branched chain amino acids) it’s a powder supplement. you can also get it in a tablet form. I take 1 tsp with 16 oz.of water and another 1tsp with 16 oz. after my workout. But, if I do cardio first thing in the am I take 2 tsp with 25 oz. of water. It really helps me with DOMS (delay onset muscle soreness) I still get a little sore but, not as bad. Also don’t forget to stretch after you warm up and after you do your routnes.
you indicated above that your job is pretty stressful at the moment? For me that would cause a fair amount of muscle tension. This is something I’ve only recently properly understood. May some meditation, yoga or just take the breathing exercise from above might help reduce stress and then you body will follow suit and the muscles will relax
