Need some input from you πŸ™‚ my daughter test results came this week, and turned out she is allergic to cow milk, gluten, shell fish, soy, and severe allergies to all kinds of nuts and sesame seeds. What makes it more difficult, she is super picky eater? I am lost what should I give her for breakfast and lunch to school?

That’s tough! So breakfast could be steel cut or whole grain oats porridge (cooked in a plant milk she can tolerate or just water) sweetened with dates and added banana and blueberries + cinnamon on top before serving. An alternative breakfast could be a smoothie containing banana, kale, spinach, berries, flaxseed, oats, dates….for lunch there is always steamed sweet or purple potato, edamame, a bean paste sandwich (e.g. hummus) with gluten free bread…fresh fruit to compliment…this was what came immediately to mind…good luck with managing such a tough situation!

I think you need a professional Dietician, just for a couple of sessions to help you. Soy isn’t a big deal to avoid- but be careful of processed foods as many contain it- but nuts and seeds are important so I would work with a professional.

If she has been eating/drinking dairy, have her eliminate all of it for a couple of months and try to introduce a known allergan (other than dairy). I found that when I eliminated all dairy and went WFPB my food allergies disappeared. I have since read that it has worked for others. You might research for more info on this.
