Ok guys. New to coyote hunting and I just bought a Remington predator 22-250. It has a 22 inch magnum contour barrel. I was wondering what ammo you guys thought I should purchase? I haven’t shot the gun yet but I’m gonna try to this weekend. Maybe some of you have the same gun and could help me out. Thanks in advance.
Have you sighted it in yet…zeroed it…you say you haven’t shot it yet. Buy a couple different kinds of ammo….your gun will tell you which it likes the best and you can decide which you like at the same time. Research bullet style and design for your intended use , distance location , terrain etc. No two guns are alike even if they are same make and model.Once you have done that you should be good to go.1 ” at 100 yds. is..3″ at 300 yds. Most of the time manufacturers trajectory that they put on their box is wishful at best and for a certain firearm .You gotta figure out those trajectories for your own firearm if you hope to kill a coyote at any great distances of maybe over 200 yds .depending on a few conditions. By all means always work on maintaining and or improving your marksmanship
