It would be nice if you could get a non condescending answer so people feel ok to ask about nutrition here but it likely isn’t the best group as I don’t know that paleo is really associated with sports performance. I don’t know the answer but I hope you’re able to find it.
For some individuals, some foods (including grains and quinoa) are thought to contribute to chronic inflammation and/or intestinal permeability.
Cultivation and preparation methods, and individual responses appear to play a role, though.
I’m not sold one way or the other, so I go based on how foods affect me individually and, when in doubt, steer clear since there’s nothing in these foods for which I can’t find a better source.
