Is Pleasant Lake in North Oaks a private lake?
I was asked by the sheriff to leave Pleasant lake as a kid. We caught a ton of crappies from the shore in the short time we were there.
Not worth getting a ticket fishing a lake that doesn’t even hold fish anyways.
Land owners are not allowed either. Holding lake. Wouldn’t risk fishing it. You wouldn’t be the first person caught…
It might not have a public access but, once things freeze that changes everything. If you can access a lake from the road via high water mark, or within 33 ft of center of the road, you can fish it.
There is no private lakes unless the person who owns the property man made the lake otherwise all lakes are public.
North oaks is a private community. Everything in it is private property. Every car that lives there has a sticker by their license plate that shows they are allowed to park in there. Only others allowed in are workers (construction etc…).
It says no one can fish it… yes private…. i eyeballed it too I usually go to white bear lake.
Unless there in no public access… if all property is private…. it’s closed, unless you get access from a land owner.
