Please explain why coconut aminos is preferable to soy sauce

I was in TJ’s today and was going to buy coconut aminos which I understand a lot of keto folks use in place of soy sauce but was surprised to see the carb count was slightly higher for the coconut. Please explain why coconut aminos is preferable to soy sauce. Thanks

I don’t know the entire answer but part of it is that soy in any form is not Keto.

Soy sauce has glutens in it.. I went and found a gluten free soysauce kikomans makes one.

Gluten free soy is awesome…. and some people use black soy beams in soups and chili. It’s all about what fits the macros…
