Please I need advice I’m so scared that I have totally messed my tool up from my own stupidity!!! I was sleeved 8/22/16 SW297 LW170 CW 203 yes I’ve GAINED!!! I’m so disappointed in myself and really really feeling down and hating myself right now!! I know I have to get back on track but I feel like it’s to late and I won’t be able to get back down to 170 please has anyone whose only been a year out gained this much and then started losing it again!?! Idk wether to just do protein and veggies or do liquids for a week or what!?! Please someone help me I NEED TO GET BACK DOWN TO THIS!!!!
What is your diet? You know how to do it . It’s getting your mind right again… the hard part is maintenance I think because when the weight falls off we are so excited and the rush of excitement going down in pounds and sizes.. I just reached my goal at 14 months out and maintenance is now my new goal!!!
Start back to the beginning of the first time you started eating real food. Measure and protein first …
I’m not out very long yet, had my sleeve on 11/17/17. Its a daily no sometimes a hourly struggle. It’s not because of the hunger pains nope, it’s the mind telling us we need to eat. You can do this!! You have put the hard work in, and seen the beautiful results. Like you said, you have been given the tools. Think back about all you have learned, just get back to the basics. Go back to basics. whatever you started eating that caused you to regain, stop eating it.Don’t buy into any quick fix being offered. Eat clean, exercise, and get your fluids. Don’t treat this like rocket science or it will overwhelm you. Go back to basics and you will be fine. ACSM recommends 45 minutes/ 6x a week of cardiovascular endurance exercise (walking) along with 2-3x a week of strength training. 1 serving protein/ 1 serving greens or vegi per meal 3-6 meals daily. 64 oz of water per day at a minimum.
My surgeon told me it was expected that I would gain about 10-15lbs once I hit my lowest weight. Even by doing everything right. If you truly feel you gained because you are off track go back to basics. Eat the way you did during the time you were losing and don’t forget to exercise. No need to do liquid diets that mess up your metabolism. Good luck.
