I told everyone and I don’t give a Tinkers Damnn what anyone else thinks it is my body my decision.
Oh and by the way Everyone at work and my Loved ones have been fully supportive. Even my 90 year old Mom is since I didn’t die from the operation (You know how Mom’s can be)

Everyone at work knows. I took a leave of absence and they had to call my boss for any medical needs for their houses. They also saw that I had dropped 20 pounds that month and now I’m down 86. I don’t see how I could lie. I see some coworkers once a month or even less so when they see me they always tell me how great I look! It makes me feel really good about myself.

Today, I had a coworker who I rarely talk to stop me…
She: WOW!! You lost a lot of weight. Like a 100lbs!! DId you have weightt loss surgery?
Me: first of all, this is a person that I’ve not had the best relationship with nor do I care to share any of my personal business with. No, I’m not ashamed of my surgery but she is not one I can to share ANYTHING with. However, many of the people I work with know I have health issues. My response…I’ve been dealing with some health issues but I’m better thanks.
She: Oh, I just knew you had wls. Well, you look good.
Me: thank you (walks off)
I wasn’t annoyed or anything. Just she was not someone that I would care to share my journey with. Just admire from afar!! Thank you!!
