Rant–> so am I supposed to stop LIVING because I am fat? I am really craving ice cream. Preferably a tub and no I won’t devour it in one sitting maybe a couple of servings and I’ll be good. This is so frustrating. Why is all the satisfying stuff fattening and I gotta eat shit like veggies for my health and get no happiness out of it. It’s better to be dead than live a life I am not enjoying

You’re having a craving – that happens. I’d wager that if you eat healthily most of the time, then you should be able to enjoy some ice cream every so often. We are what we do most often, and if you eat healthily and exercise often, then doing something different every now and then won’t hurt. Have a couple servings of ice cream…don’t listen to these people; food is there to be enjoyed. P.S. vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins and the like can be SO tasty if you look up some healthy recipes, I promise

I totally understand where your coming from. I love the sweet Starbucks coffee, red velvet cake & French vanilla ice cream. It’s ok to get a taste but measure it out maybe have just half a cup then Go burn it off! Life moves on!

I get how you feel. I want to challenge the way you are currently thinking for a second. Imagine I said, hey, live a little and do this line of cocaine! Would you think I was nuts? Here’s my point. When you are in the midst of an addiction, yes, I’m going to call it an addiction, these feelings are readily available. I used to use food to stress eat which at the time felt like it made me happy too. I was furthest from the truth.

I stopped eating meat awhile back and cut out refined sugars. My taste buds literally changed! I went from hating to eat veggies like you to loving on them.

Eliminating sugar for me was like kicking a drug. No lie. That’s why I mentioned the cocaine.

If you emit sugar from your diet you will go thru that withdraw which leads to these feelings.

It sucks but it is temporary and they go away. If you stay on track for some time you come to an interesting life realization. It is hard but enlightening when you get there.

I think your WHY needs to be strong . Why do you want to lose weight?

Once you find your whys I challenge you to evaluate your last sentence about being better dead than living a life not enjoying.

I would bet if you shed a ton of weight, are healthy and didn’t use food as a fix for stress you would feel
