Seriously contemplating keto for a couple of reasons- I want to get through runs without being completely starved- to lose the last 20 lbs of baby weight- and I feel like sugar is bad for you. I am still nursing (I am very cautious to start new things while nursing- son is 13 months but wanted to nurse through flu season). Another road block is coffee creamer. The thought of putting butter or egg in my coffee just turns me off. Any one uses anything else? I still want something that tastes good- my coffee is my treat during the day. I look forward to it every morning.
I tried just coconut oil in my coffee, and used just a small whisk. GROSS. Now I drink BPC with 1 TBS grass fed butter, 1 TBS coconut oil, and a little vanilla. BUT you have mix it well, with an immersion blender or something… That’s the trick. It’s super yummy!
