If they are high in protein then yes. Protein helps your body to heal. However, stay away from high carb meals while ur inactive right now.

 You need to eat your meals regardless of training or not. Because you’re not physically training then you might not need to consume as many calories. Space out your meals efficiently. And you certainly don’t need to call them your pre and post workout meals if you’re not currently training
