Should I just wait for a while?

After losing so much weight I’m assuming you had to resize your rings? Did you have to do it more than once? Should I just wait for a while?

I waited 2 years when I hit my comfortable weight. Now I’m losing again and will probably have to resize my engagement ring

I am 9 months out. My wife told me when I lost 100 pounds she would but me a new ring. I got a new ring beginning of January. I went from a 9.5 to a 7. The 7 is now too big. I would wait until you’re sure you have lost the majority of weight. The more you resize a ring the more vulnerable the silver/gold band gets. Eventually you can’t resize it so I would personally wait

I lost a mother’s ring completely. I moved it from my right ring finger to my (larger) left middle finger, but it slid off that too. I used temporary sizers to keep my wedding rings on for about a year and then had them made smaller.
