I’m confused on how much sodium and carbs it’s okay. And stuff like that.
I wouldn’t track sodium to that extent. It isn’t that serious! But the macros (carbs, protein and fat) that myfitnesspal sets you up for isn’t accurate.
It depends on your individual needs/goals. I would find an online macro calculator and TDEE calculator to see where your calories need to be.
Don’t make yourself crazy. I didn’t even start paying attention to the macros and sodium until I had mastered calorie counting for 7 months. Focus on that first.
I agree. I got the calories down first. I’m just considering macros now but doing some research as there’s no one size fits all.
just focus on calories first. Don’t stress yourself out trying to get your macros right just yet.
