started my journey about 1 month ago. I started to eat smaller portions, increased my meals… so 5 portioned meals a day and a protein shake before my 1.5 hour gym workout…. 45 mins cardio amd the remainder I spent working out either my arms and back or leg day… and then i got sick with a cold. The doctor weighed me and said I lost one pound… oh boy this discouraged me so much. I was working so hard with my diet and working out… i really didn’t cheat at all. How could i have lost 1 pound?

Insane!! … so this week I’ve been discouraged and stopped my healthy eating and working out.

I’m going to start going to the gym again and earinf healthy too. I have to do this, i have to find this motivation again… because my goal is to lose 40 lbs and be in the best shape ever! Not only look good, but mostly to feel good in my body and feel good knowing I accomplished something great.

So today 02/15/2017 I am 175 lbs… and my goal is 135 lbs. Let’s do this!!!!

Hi , you trust the mirror more than you trust the scale. You are building muscles. Once you reach a plateau ( building muscles),. After a couple of months, you’ll start loosing weight.

Muscle weighs heavier than fat. Don’t look at the scales. Look at your clothes and see how they fit. Look at your energy and see how you feel!! Those are the markers of success. And give it time
