Does tea and coffee count toward water consumption for the day?!

I will say I was always big into drinking over 100 ounces of water per day. I saw Dr Berg’s video on water where he says he only drinks 2 to 3 glasses a day. About a month ago I was getting pounding headaches and I was dizzy. I went to my doctor and he said I was drinking way too much water. It was flushing out my electrolytes and dehydrating me. I also needed to up my salt intake. I cut way back on the water and wow big difference. I do eat a lot of dark greens and some will say that you do get some water. It’s interesting some still are drinking a lot of water I just can’t. I think it just varies with each person.

No no. It’s a diuretic. I always at least drink the amount of coffee in water on top of what it should be. So if I have two 10 oz coffees I’ll drink 20oz of water on top of what I should. I have even heard it should be double but I’m not sure about that.

They are diuretics. I think because of that, they do not count.

I personally don’t because of the caffiene. If anything I drink more water because of them.

I’d say no as they are diuretics. But, man are they yummy and relaxing. Personal opinion, maybe have an 8oz glass of water for each cup of coffee or tea???
