Week 2 of Alpha.....my knees hurt during workouts

Week 2 of Alpha…..my knees hurt during workouts 🙁 assuming it’s my shoes???? What brand of shoes to you suggests that work well for these kinds of workouts???

Try on a mat, barefoot. I experience knee pain often but I just have really bad knees. I had more problems wearing shoes as crazy as that might seem. Good luck!

I wore Nike cross trainers (the lady at academy suggested them)- and sprained my ankle the next day after that I learned that running shoes work best for me, and I only wear asic gels. Haven’t had a problem since, and I work out on hard wood floors. Before I started wearing running shoes my hips and knees were always hurting, now it’s been no hip pain either.

Try without shoes and make sure your form is correct.

I’ve recently been working out barefoot but lots of people recommend Asics. Also make sure your knees stay behind your toes during squats and lunges.

I have a pair of Nike free 5.0. Also if you get new shoes and it still hurts then maybe try a mat.
