Egg diet is a low carbs medium protein high fat, it works for others but for those who have problems of high cholesterol like me it can lead to weight gain, still once u are on it u need to continue with low carbs diets cos ur body gets adapted to depend on fat as source of energy so u do Keto, Atkins or Banting diets forever, if u want to reverse u change to clean eating
