What are the long term effects of this diet on your body? What are your health struggles? I am hoping for responses from people who have been on 8months or longer. I’m interested to know if you have experienced problems w/ cholesterol & blood pressure or anything like this or have things improved. I don’t eat a lot of meat and I am worried that I will fail at the protein part or my body will go into shock for putting so much animal products in it.

I’ve been eating Keto for over 8 months and my blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugars, are all down to normal. My thyroid is healing after 40 years and starting to work. I’m getting off of medicine plus lost 108 lbs!! I have tons of energy, no more inflammation or arthritis!

I’ve lost weight and feel great! I think I had a gluten allergy I never knew about. I used to have IBS and those awful bumps on the back of my arms – all gone now!

Read Maria Emmerich books. She’s a keto expert and author and is raising her kids on this way of eating. Have great recipes too.

Following..im 3 mos in, feel great, more energy, no more ADD, inflammatory arthritis gone, 23 lbs down but LDL skyrocketed at 3 month labs. Other labs good. Looking to hear directly from those whose #s eventually went down.

Almost 6 months in..72lbs down. Feel amazing and my labs are outstanding. No more joint pain, no more heart palpitations, no more fatigue. My skin is best it has ever been. So many improvements. Unless you are eating meat all day long non-stop I have never heard of anyone going into shock from it!
