So I have these yoga friends that are vegan and they say I can still have muscle and not eat meat. They say gorillas are big and strong and mostly eat vegetables and fruit. What are your thoughts on this subject?
Well keep in mind gorillas have different genetics then we do so naturally they will be stronger then any human. Thats like comparing me (mostly meat) amd a grizzly bear. I eat meat it eats meat but its still stronger.And we are omnivorous meaning our bodies are designed to digest both meat and veg. I don’t wanna talk against being vegan it’s all a matter of personal likes and dislikes. Vegan diets consist of alot of beans and soy to get their proteins and soy is a no go for men. I personally don’t think eating only meat or eating only veg. is a healthy choice. Our bodies need a balance of the nutrients that come from whole foods. Again just personal opinion. Plus I can’t stand veggies lmao!
Well I’m vegetarian, but still get my source of protein from beans. It just involves getting really creative with the different types of bean-based foods you can make lol. You don’t have to eat meat to get your protein, but it’s alot easier to get your daily protein amount in – if you do eat meat.
