I hope someone has some suggestions for me. I “pulled” my back 2 weeks ago. Its muscle related. I’m in so much pain. I’m doing core exercises, went to Airrosti for massage/rehab,using a lacrosse ball and roller, but I’m still hurting. What foods or herbs can I take that will help with this chronic pain?

Since you pulled the muscle in your back 2 weeks ago you can try using hot compresses on the affected area. You can also try electrical stimulation. Both help relax the muscle, and increase blood flow, to stimulate healing. For the pain you can try consuming herbs like cayenne pepper which help to block pain signals. Other herbs like lavender help to relax the nerves. Catnip and vervain are good muscle relaxants, and chamomile and valerian are natural relaxants.

Go see a chiropractor and let them adjust your core and your spine. You will reap a better reward. Rehab actually makes back pain worse.

Massage therapy is one of the best treatments for muscle tightness along with anti-Inflammatory herbs. Don’t allow anyone to mess with your spine, not natural. When the tight muscle is released and relaxed your spine will fall into its proper place. You didn’t get proper massage therapy. Keep going and use your herbs.

A GREAT chiropractor will work with that muscle. They don’t just specialize in the spine. Trust me. I’ve been to a chiropractor and physical therapy for my back and they both helped tremendously.

Of course if the issue has something to do with the spine then yes a good chiropractor will help.
