Amongst butter and ghee, ghee is recommended. If you wish, you can also add MCT Oil.

If you can get grass fed unsalted butter, that’s the best. Like Kerrygold butter.

Ghee is 99.8% lactose and milk solid free. This means if you use ghee instead of butter, you almost eliminate the possibility of being impacted by lactose. However, I personally find the taste of BPC a little appalling while using ghee. I use 1-2tbsp butter, 1 tbsp fresh cream, 1 tbsp coconut oil (and 1 tbsp MCT oil on heavy workout days) plus filter coffee (not instant) and a little bit of vanilla essence.
