When doing an intermittent fast, such as 18/6 or 20/4. Should you still eat all your macros in that time period or is there a different formula that you should be following?

Just eat one big meal.

Hard to eat that much in short amount of time…. I eat till I’m full and eat a small meal to break the fast and my larger meal toward the end of my eating window.

If you’re doing it every day

I would make sure to meet your macros

If you’re doing it a couple days a week

Then just eating more on non IF days
Will be probably be fine

You can always track it for a few days to see if your adequately fueling your body.

Just seems like eating a lot in short period of time, 4 hour window for two meals.

If you’re struggling with that

I’d definitely encourage you to switch your fasting times up through the week

So you have some days with
1 meal
2 meals
3 meals
Or some combo

Tooo many people are restricting with daily OMAD in my opinion.
