Whole wheat pasta. Does the 5:1 rule apply here? I checked every box in the grocery store and none of them came close to the 5:1 ratio so I instead purchased red lentil pasta. I’m just still wondering if there is a 5:1 pasta out there that isn’t made from legumes?

The fiber rule does not apply to whole grains.

That. If you want to try other “bean” pastas, you can find black bean, edamame, chickpea, as well as general veggie pastas.

Just make sure the only ingredient in the pasta is a whole grain. Fiber rule doesn’t apply here. Although red lentil pasta is so yummy!
