Would you consider it a squat PR if you only go parallel or just barely??

That’s pretty high, but if you’re not a powerlifter then I wouldn’t beat yourself up over it or anything.

That’s a squat. I’m not a believer of the ATG. When going super deep, your quads get a huge break, and sometimes do not develop as much as they do on parallel or partial squats.

For power lifting you need to get pretty low. A little past parallel. But like other have said if you’re just working on strength then don’t worry too much about it. I think this is either 325 or 335. I’m retired from power lifting tho, too much stress on my knees after a while.

Yes. If this is YOUR normal position and due to knees or whatever you can’t go below parallel that’s YOUR PR. As stated by Chris you’re not in competition; the only person to beat is you.

Crease of hip needs to be slightly lower than knees. So a little over parallel.
