Yes there is. Too much cardio can weaken your immune system and it can actually cause muscle hypertrophy. Doing mostly cardio with no weight training what end up making you look skinny fat.

Weight training. I lost 40 lbs just lifting weights alone. I gained it back cuz I have been at home with my newborn but imma get back to it soon

I think it depends on the results you want. I got into the gym to loosen weight. I love power lifting and training, but it’s increasing my size and weight. So I guess I should have chosen cardio….LOL
